Welcome to my practice

If you're preoccupied with your appearance or body odor, or if you suffer from obsessions, compulsive behaviors, depression, or anxiety, I can help. I have expertise in body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), olfactory reference syndrome (ORS), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), skin picking, anxiety disorders, and other mental health conditions.

I offer expert one-time evaluations/consultations for adults and adolescents that provide recommendations for your ongoing care. I provide evaluations/consultations only by secure video (via computer or smartphone) for people who can be in the state of New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut at the time of the evaluation. I also offer outpatient treatment by video for adults and adolescents who live in one of these three states for most of the year.

I offer treatment with medication and/or therapy to enhance your day-to-day functioning and sense of well-being. My approach is holistic while providing encouragement and support. I will strive to help you function and feel as well as possible, and help free you to live a happier, more gratifying, and more fulfilling life.

I'm committed to partnering with you to get you on a pathway to healing.

I'm also passionate about advancing knowledge and increasing awareness of body dysmorphic disorder and other mental health issues. I frequently write and publish scientific papers and other articles, do presentations for professionals and the public, and do media interviews. We followed her recommended treatment plan which included the right dose of medication, which we would have never received in Canada.
